Summergrove Estate is set in Carool on 73 acres and is one of our most favourite venues to shoot at due to all parts of the day being on-site. It is a wedding photographer’s dream venue! Have a read below on why we recommend getting married at this lovely property.

Summergrove Estate was one of the first venues we visited on the Tweed Coast and it is only a few minutes down the road from us. We absolutely love capturing weddings here due to the beautiful views, the sunset and multiple portrait locations on the property. It is still one of the few venues we always recommend due to lots of features which not only make it easy and calm for us as a wedding photographer, but for you as a couple. We love that there are 6 villas and a bridal prep room on the property so that we can walk between the two of you without spending time travelling.

Our couples usually choose between the chapel or the garden for their ceremony and the reception is nearly always in their beautiful barn. Portraits are sooo easy due to the multiple spots including the gardens, the vineyard, the chapel, the paths and the iconic Summergrove fence with the spectacular view. Summergrove Estate

Most definitely! We have captured more than 20 weddings here and we have never travelled off-site. This is one of the perks of Summergrove Estate! You can do your portraits and family photos in front of the chapel, in the garden, on the tree-lined paths, the vineyard or along the iconic Summergrove fence with the breathtaking views. You have SO many options. In wet weather cases, we usually use the barn doors and chapel for the family photos and portraits.

Yes of course! We have had many weddings with their dogs as a feature during the ceremony. The lovely wedding coordinators would be happy to assist you with questions about this. You can also hire a “pet babysitter” to help on the day.

The reception is nearly always in their barn. It is beautiful, with white large farm doors, huge windows and high ceilings. You can then do your first dance in the little courtyard outside the barn under their festoon lights. It is seriously beautiful.
