husband and wife, the faces behind Bird and Boy and lovers of love.

We’ve been photographing weddings since 2013 and feel incredibly lucky to do what we do. Our style is relaxed, natural and story-focused, perfect for couples who want real moments and photos that truly feel like their day.

We work together alongside a small, trusted tiny team of 1 admin wizard, 3 shooters and 1 editor who all shoot and edit in the Bird and Boy style. We are all experienced, kind, and easy to be around, which makes a big difference on your special day. With over 900 weddings photographed, you can relax knowing you’re in very safe hands.

What we do… We capture your wedding as it unfolds, capturing all the little moments you might miss while you’re busy soaking it all in. We know how crazy the day will be… it will feel like a blur! Think all those “I didn’t even realise that happened” moments. We keep things calm, fun and easy… no awkward posing or feeling uncomfortable. We direct when needed but are more like flies on the wall. We’re also more than just friendly faces with cameras. We’ll help things flow, guide you when needed, and blend into the background when it matters most. Even the most camera-shy couples end up saying they had fun (especially the grooms haha).

Yay! We require a digitally signed contract and a booking fee to lock in your date with us. Just message us and will send you the next steps!

Of course!! Maddi is nearly always in the office and happy to chat whenever you need! Give us a call or message and we will be in touch asap.

Absolutely! The main thing is to lock in your date. You can always alter
your packages, add more hours or extras on at any time.

Of course!! Nearly every couple tells us this. We gently guide you when needed, but never force awkward poses. Our goal is to create moments that feel natural so your photos look like you. We pose only to make you feel comfortable. We guarantee you will love it!

Yes! We offer flexible payment plans so you can spread the cost leading up to your wedding. These are interest-free and you control the amounts and frequency.

Yes you sure will! We always give a sneak peek gallery within 48 hours after the wedding day with heaps of photos for you to share, love and get excited about. The finished photos will also be added to the same gallery so you can easily print them and share them with loved ones.
