Oh this was a sweet one. After almost five years together, Erik knew exactly where he wanted to ask one of the biggest questions of his life. He and Carmen, both from Toowoomba, had visited Fingal Headland several times over the years, and each time Erik told us that he knew Fingal would be the perfect place. So when he finally decided it was time to stop making Carmen wait and put his plan into action, there was no better place. We chatted a few times before the day and agreed a sunrise proposal would be amazing. Before the sun had even begun to rise, Jerome made his way to Fingal Headland in the dark, posing as a landscape photographer/ninja to capture the surprise without giving anything away. As the first light appeared across the Tweed Coast, Erik led Carmen to the lookout, completely unaware of what was about to happen. With the ocean stretching out behind them and the sunrise looking surreal, Erik got down on one knee and asked Carmen to marry him. Carmen’s face was full of excitement and surprise and we felt so lucky to be able to capture this sweet moment. After she said yes, they had a little portrait session around the Fingal rocks, cliffs and on the beachfront. Have a flick through some of their snaps!
