About us Maddi and Jerome - founders of Bird and Boy Photography

husband and wife, the faces behind Bird and Boy and lovers of love.

We’ve been photographing weddings since 2013 and feel incredibly lucky to do what we do. Our style is relaxed, natural and story-focused, perfect for couples who want real moments and photos that truly feel like their day.

We work together alongside a small, trusted tiny team of 3 shooters and 1 editor who all shoot and edit in the Bird and Boy style. We are all experienced, kind, and easy to be around, which makes a big difference on your special day. With over 900 weddings photographed, you can relax knowing you’re in very safe hands.

What we do… We quietly document your wedding as it unfolds, capturing all the little moments you might miss while you’re busy soaking it all in. Think laughter, happy tears, tight hugs and those “I didn’t even realise that happened” moments. We keep things calm, fun and easy… no awkward posing, no pressure. Just you being you. We’re more than just people with cameras. We’ll help things flow, guide portraits when needed, and blend into the background when it matters most. Even the most camera-shy couples end up saying they had fun (especially the grooms haha).
